Buccaneers, Falcons on Collision Course for NFC South Lead

Raheem Morris, the coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, sounded less brash this Sunday when he claimed his team was the best in the NFC.

The Bucs are 5-2. They tried to give a game away on the road Sunday against Arizona and then snatched it back, 38-35. There was a lot of poise out there for the second-youngest team in the NFL

Suddenly, they have a run game with LeGarrette Blount, so nimble at 247 pounds he can hurdle. Their star cornerback, Aqib Talib, is back on a high level after two interceptions Sunday. He had been scorched for four big plays this season.

The Bucs play the Falcons on Sunday. First place in the NFC South is up for grabs and the Saints will not be in the building. How about that? It is the NFC South, once again, working its worst-to-first magic.
