The Detroit Lions have watched wide receiver Calvin Johnson steadily improve all week in practice although he's been limited the whole time with a shoulder injury. He's gone from light route work where passes weren't thrown his way to catching balls with just his left arm to fully being able to raise both arms up to catch passes.
Johnson is listed as questionable for Sunday's game and is a game-time decision. He's going to hit the field during warm-ups and test the shoulder. If he feels like he did on Friday when he was using two hands to catch passes, he'll likely play.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been without the full use of wide receiver Mike Williams in practice all week except for Friday because of a foot strain. He practiced on Wednesday, couldn't do anything on Thursday and practiced again on Friday. This up-and-down action has caused Williams to be a game-time decision.
If Williams feels good during warm-ups, expect him to be quarterback Josh Freeman's No. 1 target against the Saints.
(UPDATE: Calvin Johnson and Mike Williams are both ACTIVE for Sunday's games.)
