Randy Orton: I'd Never Quit WWE

Filed under:

Randy OrtonWhether you are a big fan of Randy Orton's, the one thing you cannot deny is that works hard and seems to have a real passion for the business. That comes from growing up around it as a third-generation WWE superstar, following in the footsteps of his father "Cowboy" Bob Orton and his grandfather Bob Orton, Sr.

Now, Randy has taken the ball and run with it to become one of the biggest stars in the WWE today. In the November edition of the WWE Magazine, which hits stands on Tuesday, Nov. 2, the Viper answered a few questions including what he what he would do on his last day if he quit the WWE tomorrow.

"That's impossible to answer, on the grounds that I'd never quit under any circumstances," Orton said.

Sure, that seems to be stubborn but that's the place he is in right now in his life. It might be stubborn but he doesn't care; he knows he is good at what he does and has no plans on giving that up any time soon.

Orton has opened up more to people over the years and even has his own Twitter account, which he was asked about.

"It lets fans know who Randy Orton @randyorton really is. There are a lot of fans out there who think I'm an arrogant jerk, or hard to talk to. It's humanized me a little more, which may or may not be a good thing."

In the interview, Orton also shared where he has improved the most since his debut a decade ago: "That my confidence level has gone up. I'd have to say that that's one of the most important attributes to have in this business. If you're not confident in yourself and your abilities, as soon as you walk through the curtain, the fans can sense that right away."

As for what he wants to do at WrestleMania XVII next April: "Win. Hopefully I'll still be the champion. I think I'd like to face John Cena. We started in OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) together 10 years ago and came up through the ranks. We have quite the history, of course. I think that the two of us going at it at 'Mania would be epic. We have so many things in common and, at the same time, there's so much contrast between us as well."
