Tennessee Titans players wanted Randy Moss. Very much. Now, they have him, having acquired the troubled wide receiver off waivers Wednesday. And although considering Moss' recent history there's no guarantee it will be a huge benefit to the Titans' playoff push, Nashville at first glance seems a good fit for Moss.
"Randy is looking forward to coming to Tennessee. He is ready to play," Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reported Moss' agent, Joel Segal, saying via Twitter.
The early reaction from the Titans was positive.
"Welcome, Randy Moss," safety Robert Johnson said via Twitter on Wednesday.
Safety Michael Griffin and running back Chris Johnson each had tweeted that they hoped the team would acquire Moss, and Titans coach Jeff Fisher had said early Wednesday players had approached him to lobby for the move.
